Tracks 5 to 15 are live recordings (and the only existing ones) of The Dark Side Of The Force songs, recorded during our last concert before the idea for changes. When the changes towards Burn Alive began, we took Siarczan as the second guitarist and I focused on tearing my throat into the microphone - with the new name came heavier material and my colleagues' demand to shout, growl and scream more than sing - which can be heard in the first 4 tracks of this album, created during our transformation. Świder was a drummer from the very beginning (in later years it was to turn out that Świder and I would join a few more bands together, and his death in 2015 is one of the reasons why I share these recordings - in memory). Apart from vocals, I also played guitar next to Boxer. Moreover, Baranek played keyboards instead of bass. However, the first two years under the original name were a time when we mostly performed completely different songs, a bit lighter than later. In 2008, The Dark Side Of The Force was renamed Burn Alive and continued until 2014.

The recordings are of terrible quality and the songs are poorly performed - but it was my first band and not all of us are even still alive, so let Bandcamp be a place of remembrance for this good times together. I HAVE UPLOADED THIS ALBUM FOR PURE SENTIMENTAL REASONS A collection of the first demos and early live recordings of The Dark Side Of The Force (2006 - 2007) - the band that later transformed into Burn Alive
